EducExpert implemented major company restructuring and set up its academic support service. As of that date, the company became not only a course designer and distributor, but also a training manager.
Development of a training programme that complied with the reference framework for the Fire-fighter 1 programme as prepared by the l’École nationale des pompiers du Québec (ENPQ) and officially recognised by them.
EducExpert was officially recognised as a ‘Training Manager’ by the ENPQ and gained the backing of the Association des chefs en sécurité incendie du Québec (ACSIQ).
Conversion of a number of training programmes to comply with the standardised SCORM format to make our courses accessible on platforms compatible with that standard.

EducExpert officially opened its EducExpert France offshoot, in Val d’Europe on the outskirts of Paris. French fire safety experts joined the ranks of the French team to launch our products on the market.
Academic support and technical support services were set up in France.
Pilot training projects were launched, in particular for the SDIS 45 (fire and emergency services) in France.
First project to develop distance training (FB01) in Switzerland with the Canton de Vaud.
To meet the training needs of the French market, three complete UV (Unités de valeur = ‘modules’) of the Équipier course were developed (CAD1-SAP1-RTN1).
The Quebec team expanded with the creation of the Graffartis company specialising in the production of multimedia titles and software. EducExpert and Graffartis moved into new and bigger premises in the city of Quebec.
EducExpert strengthened its position on the European market by developing new training solutions (PR11, PR12, PR13) for the canton of Vaud, in Switzerland.
